ENTANGLEMENT QUANTISTICO PER TRASFERIRE ISTANTANEAMENTE I DATI TRA DUE CHIP

PIU VELOCIE DELLA LUCE

In un articolo recentemente pubblicato sulla rivista Nature, i ricercatori affermano di aver trasferito dati usando la misurazione degli stati di particelle quantistiche che sono collegate tramite entanglement quantistico. L'entanglement quantistico è il fenomeno fisico in cui due particelle intrecciate riflettono istantaneamente un cambiamento nello stato comunemente; se una particella dovesse cambiare il suo stato, l'altra particella con cui è intrecciata cambia istantaneamente il suo stato in modo che corrisponda a quello del suo partner. Come tale, i trasferimenti di dati usando l'entanglement quantico potrebbero essere piu' veloci della luce!

IL MOMENTO DELLO STUPORE GENERALE

I computer sono diventati sempre più veloci anno dopo anno, ma fino ad oggi la limitazione della velocità di trasferimento era implicita nel sistema stesso.
Ma doveva arrivare il momento dello stupore generale e della rivoluzione totale... ebbene si!!!... Diversi ricercatori affermano di "teletrasportare" i dati tra due microprocessori istantaneamente.

INDIPENDENTEMENTE DALLA DISTANZA.

L'entanglement quantistico è un fenomeno osservato a livello quantico. Quando le particelle quantistiche sono intrecciate, i loro stati si rispecchiano a vicenda indipendentemente dalla loro posizione nello spazio. In sostanza, se lo stato di una particella cambia, cambia anche lo stato della particella corrispondente. Questo cambiamento avviene istantaneamente, indipendentemente dalla distanza.

VIOLATO IL LIMITE DI VELOCITA'... MULTA DALLA FISICA CLASSICA.

Il fenomeno non è ancora del tutto chiaro anche perché entra in competizione e contrasto con le leggi della fisica classica. Nel dettaglio, per fisica classica la velocita della luce e' considerata il limite a cui nemmeno le particelle o le informazioni quantistiche possono arrivare.

L'entanglement quantistico apparentemente viola questo "limite di velocità", poiché i cambiamenti di stato tra due particelle intrecciate avvengono istantaneamente. Ripeto, non importa quanto distanti tra loro.

2 MICROPROCESSORI CHE SCAMBIANO DATI

Ma questa volta i ricercatori sono stati in grado di trasmettere dati misurando gli stati delle particelle intrecciate situate su Microprocessori totalmente separati. La fedeltà nel trasferimento era pari circa al 91%, con evidenti margini di miglioramento. Ma e' un esperimento che non era mai stato fatto in passato e che sicuramente avrà ripercussioni su tutto il comparto.

L'unica stonatura, e' che una volta osservate le particelle, il loto entanglement quantico è crollato, il che limita attualmente sviluppi immediati.

QUANTISTICO. FORSE NESSUNO PUO ANCORA IMMAGINARE IL FUTURO.

Nonostante i limiti attuali, il successo di questo esperimento "il trasferimento di informazioni computazionali tramite entanglement quantistico" può essere paragonato al primo satellite mandato in orbita intorno alla terra.
